Navigating Gender Affirming Care with Your Client

This training is focused on providing clinicians with information on the different aspects of gender affirming medical care. Clinicians often find themselves in the position of supporting clients through these processes, or are asked to participate. Based on my experience in gender affirming health care settings, I provide information on how to best support your clients as they navigate these systems and their own transition.

Writing Gender Affirming Letters of Support

Learn about the in's and out's of writing a letter of support for a client who is desiring a gender affirming surgery. This training will review the history of these practices, familiarize with WPATH standards, discuss insurance requirements, and leave with a template for letter writing.
