Couples Therapy

Finding yourself asking if it is time for couples therapy can be nerve-wracking. People ask, “If we need a couples therapist…does this mean we’re not meant to be?”

Couples come to me for a variety of reasons and I feel comfortable holding space for the many forms relationships can take whether that is the continuation of them or the decision to go on different paths. Couples may also seek therapy because of upcoming or recent life changes such as the decision to marry, the question of growing one’s family, navigating fertility, navigating parenthood, or another life event that feels like it has taken a hit to your foundation. Couples may also want to explore intimacy, sexuality, or the question of monogamy and/or open relationships.
