Individual Therapy
“I’ve always wanted to become a parent, but found out I can’t get pregnant and feel lost.”
“I don’t feel comfortable in my body. I’m exploring my gender and my friends have started using they/them pronouns.”
“My teenage daughter seems distant…she had a panic attack at school last month and we don’t know how to help her.”
“I grew up very religious and was taught being gay was a sin. I feel alone and want acceptance.”
“I had a baby four months ago, and I don’t recognize myself. I feel sad and angry all the time.”
“It feels like an elephant sits on my chest all day—I can’t even take a deep breath.”
These are some of the many experiences people bring to individual therapy. Reaching out for mental health support can feel intimidating, but the first sessions focus on understanding your goals and exploring what to expect in therapy.
In individual therapy, the work centers on identifying patterns and narratives that may be helping or holding you back, whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, postpartum changes, gender identity exploration, parenting challenges, or identity-related stress. This therapy space is designed to be affirming, supportive, and nonjudgmental, so you can explore who you are without apology and work toward the growth and life you’re seeking.
In individual therapy, my work includes:
LGBTQIA+ Identities
Gender Affirming Care
Challenges of Family Building
